Communication

Tanaina values communication and collaboration between families, teachers, and administration. Strong partnerships with families benefit children’s academic growth and social-emotional learning and provide a sense of community. Our staff and administration team heavily prioritize communication between families. Staff check in with families during drop-off and pickup with updates on their child’s day and growth. In addition to daily communication, Tanaina stays connected with families in the following ways.

  • Monthly Newsletters

  • Bulletin Boards

  • Daily Reports

  • Two-way messaging between families and teachers Via Remind App.

  • Semi-annual parent-teacher conferences and conferences upon request

As a parent, it's so reassuring to see messages from teachers throughout the day sharing what my children are working on and the skills they are learning. I love that at pickup, teachers take the time to check in with any updates regarding their day.
