Tanaina Child Development Center collaborates with families and community to foster children’s development. We are committed to promoting a love of learning by providing quality early childhood education through evidence-based curriculum in a supportive childcare setting. About

Drawing on several approaches to early childhood care and education, Tanaina recognizes every child as an individual who is growing and learning at his/her own rate with special interests, strengths, and needs. The Tanaina curriculum is emergent and integrated. Teachers partner with the children to identify topics of interest and design activities around those topics.

program information

Tanaina is licensed by the Municipality of Anchorage Child Care Licensing Department. Tanaina offers 3. 4 and 5-day programs. Rates are dependent on the number of days enrolled.  Tanaina operates Monday - Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Child Care Assistance through multiple programs is accepted.

Enrollment

Tanaina's enrollment process includes an application process, requires current physical and vaccination records and 50% of your child's first month’s tuition in order to secure their space.  We are currently full but accepting waitlist applications.
